5.3.2. Voltage Monitoring
First, the overvoltage monitoring is checked. The voltage trip level is ramped down from
the maximum allowed voltage level, 276 V
AC
, and decreased until it equals the current grid
voltage. The time it takes from equalization of the voltage to when the inverter
disconnects from the grid is measured.
V
AC max
Maximum allowed voltage; trip level
V
AC off
Disconnection voltage level; equalization
t
max
Maximum allowed disconnection time
t
off
ime from equalization to disconnection
PASS
he first sequence is successfully carried out
FAIL
he
irst sequence has failed – try again later
Second, the undervoltage monitoring is checked. The trip level is ramped up from the
minimum allowed voltage level, 184 V
AC
, and increased until it equals the current grid
voltage. The time it takes from equalization to disconnection is measured.
V
AC min
Minimum allowed voltage; trip level
V
AC off
Grid voltage level
t
max
Maximum allowed disconnection time
t
off
ime from equalization to disconnection
PASS
he second sequence is successfully carried out
FAIL
he second sequence has failed – try again later
